87 Series manual squeeze crush as standard

The 878 incorporates the top of the range Q-Catch 87 Series Manual Squeeze crush as standard with all of the same great features as the static 87 Series crushes.

Including:

With a range of access points the Q-Catch 87 Series gives users multiple options to best suits their working practises.

Horizontal opening top and bottom doors which can be pegged together and operated as one.

Opening and removable ‘branding gates’ (black railed sections) can also be reversed to open either way

ADJUSTABLE WIDTH ‘EASYFLOW’ RACE

Directly behind the crush with have an 8’ long, adjustable width race. Being able to narrow the race means smaller cattle can be handled without them turning. This saves time, effort and reduces the rick of injury to stock.

The sides of the race are cradle shaped to discourage jumping and can also be laid flat in case required as an emergency exit.

Simple pull rope latch assembly for quick adjustment.

Jacking System Options

A standard the 878 comes with a manual jacking kit. Winding a handle operates each side jack simultaneously to lift the unit from the ground allowing the wheels to be removed and placed out of the way of the operators.

A hydraulic jack system can be specified. This unit comes with it’s own power supply (battery and solar panel), pump, oil reservoir and push button operation. This allows the unit to be lifted and lowered with no external power supply whilst stood next to the system for easy and safe control. Ideal for farms looking to move the system regularly.

Forklift slots in the top of the unit allow for lifting into place where towing is not an option.

Extra Strong

The Q-Catch 87 Series features an upgraded main frame with 3”x3” base frame and 6”x2” top beams.

Fork slots above can be used for moving the system where towing is not possible.

WEIGHING KIT

An aluminium platform can be added to the race section of the system to facilitate accurate weighing.

Heavy duty, purpose made platform to fit the Arrowquip mobile systems.

Shape helps to eliminate foot traps.

Suitable for use with TruTest or Gallagher 600mm load bars.

Q-Catch Cattle Head Scoop

The Third-Generation Q-Catch Cattle Head Scoop (patented) uses a scissor action motion to securely hold the head in place.

Sternum Bar

Simple, bolt-in attachment. A Sternum Bar helps to prevent cattle from going down inside the crush. The sheeted design helps to minimise foot traps and the whole thing can be removed quickly and easily with just two bolts.

Weighing Equipment

All Arrowquip crushes are suitable for having load bars attached. We recommend TruTest HD5T load bars which are very robust and can be attached with minimal work.
