Q-Catch 87 Series Manual Squeeze Cattle Crush

The flagship model in the Arrowquip range, the 87 Series is super heavy duty with more access points, more steel and the longest warranty on the market.

Additional quiet points make this crush quieter than ever before with a virgin rubber floor to help keep stress low.

Q-Catch Head Gate

The latest style Q-Catch head gate with vertical bar design allowing more light into the front of the crush. Drawing animals forward without force.

With the infinite-lock headgate design the headgate is always locked and cannot be pushed open from the inside. This means we do not need a crash gate on the front as a precaution, so long a the headgate isn’t open wider than the animal it cannot escape.

With the sliding operating handle the headgate can be operated anywhere along the side of the crush.

The patented ‘Direct Drive’ system allows for more pressure to be applied and greater ‘feel’ for the operator.

Extra Strong

The Q-Catch 87 Series features an upgraded main frame with 3”x3” base frame and 6”x2” top beams.

Fork slots above the crush make moving easier.

All 87 Series crushes are ‘wheel kit ready’ meaning you can add a drawbar and wheels along with a jacking kit allowing you to move your crush between sites easily without requiring a forklift.

Rubber Floor

The Q-Catch 87 Series is fitted as standard with a rubber floor.

Made by Goodyear from virgin rubber, this textured floor is both slip resistant and quiet.

The only rubber floor that is guaranteed for life.

Optional sternum bar helps to prevent cattle from going down in the crush.

Maximum Squeeze

Parallel squeeze from 750mm down to 197mm to handle all sizes of cattle.

Infinite friction lock mechanism for seamless operation.

Applying pressure to the sides of the animal helps to reduce stress and lessens the chance of injury and bruising.

Sliding rear doors with offside operating handle as standard on all 87 Series crushes.

With an 87 Series the vet cage (where fitted) also squeezes with the rest of the crush.

 

Full Side Access

With a range of access points the Q-Catch 87 Series gives users multiple options to best suits their working practises.

Horizontal opening top and bottom doors which can be pegged together and operated as one.

Opening and removable ‘branding gates’ (black railed sections) can also be reversed to open either way

Drop down and removable needle access door for TB testing


 

Composite Rump Fingers and Rump Bar

All 87 Series crushes come as standard with 2 full rows of composite rump fingers. These are purpose made composite nylon for quiet operation.

Two rows allows for a greater variety of cattle sizes and allows for either the top or bottom doors to be open while the rump bar is in place.

Lifetime guarantee as standard on all Arrowquip rump fingers.

87 Series come standard with rubber coated fibre glass rump bar.

 

Extra Quiet

With nylon bushes on moving parts and hinges, rubber floor and nylon rump fingers the 87 Series is already a really quiet crush. With the new poly-coated slam latches, today it is even quieter.

Vet Cage Options

The Q-Catch 87 Series is available with or without a vet cage.

The access doors at the rear of the vet cage model allow for safer access behind animals for tasks such an preg-checking.

The rear sliding door is standard regardless of which option is chosen.

Q-Catch Cattle Head Scoop

The Third-Generation Q-Catch Cattle Head Scoop (patented) uses a scissor action motion to securely hold the head in place.

Sternum Bar

Simple, bolt-in attachment. A Sternum Bar helps to prevent cattle from going down inside the crush. The sheeted design helps to minimise foot traps and the whole thing can be removed quickly and easily with just two bolts.

Weighing Equipment

All Arrowquip crushes are suitable for having load bars attached. We recommend TruTest HD5T load bars which are very robust and can be attached with minimal work.
