Latest 3E Head Gate Design
Arrowquip’s 3E Head Gate design works with animal behaviour to draw cattle towards the front of the crush without the use of force. The slatted vertical bar design on both the head gate and rear gate allows light through to keep cattle moving forward.
Built For Strength
The Powerlock 108 Series hydraulic cattle crush is built on a 3”x3” base frame with 6”x2” top beams for unbeatable strength.
The top of the frame is fit with fork slots for easy transport.
Heavy-Duty Hydraulics
Hydraulic operation for increased force and ease of use
Applying pressure to the sides of the animal helps to reduce stress and lessens the chance of injury and bruising.
With a 107 Series the vet cage (standard) also squeezes with the rest of the crush.
Rubber Floor
A textured rubber floor with metal traction bars gives a slip-resistant base while also mitigating noise.
Made from virgin, tractor tyre grade rubber, Arrowquip’s cattle crush floor has a lifetime guarantee.
For farms with cattle that try to drop to their knees when being restrained in a cattle crush, a sternum bar can be installed. This can quickly be removed to work smaller calves.
Hydraulic Control Swing Arm
Each of the 108 Series crushes is equipped with controls affixed to a swinging arm.
All functionalities, including head gate, rear gate, squeeze, and optional neck extenders, are consolidated into a single bank of levers for simplified operation.
The swing arm spans from one side of the crush to the other, optimizing usability.
Maximum Squeeze
Full length parallel squeeze from 800mm down to 197mm.
This operates smoothly and effortlessly on hydraulics.
Full Side Access
The crush features fully opening sides on both ends, operated by one fixed door for convenient access to the animal with a simple lift of the handle.
Additionally, the bottom section of the door is divided into two parts, providing options for full or split access to the animal's feet and belly.
The vet cage doors are full height to give operators greater clearance, and also swing inward and outward.
Removable black gates enable complete access to the top of the animal, with a space between the front frame and the first black gates allowing neck access without requiring a gate to be opened.
Composite Rump Fingers and Rump Bar
Included as a standard, the Powerlock 108 Series hydraulic cattle crush has two full rows of composite rump fingers, designed from nylon to ensure silent operation.
The rubber-coated fiberglass rump bar offers robust support for full-sized cattle yet remains lightweight for effortless handling for operators.
With two rows of rump fingers, the crush accommodates various cattle sizes and permits either the top or bottom doors to stay open while the rump bar is engaged.
Lifetime guarantee on rump fingers.
Engineered for Quietness
Poly-coated slam latches, nylon bushes, nylon rump fingers and a textured rubber floor work together for a quiet cattle crush.
Hydraulic Neck Extenders
Customers have the option to equip Powerlock 108 Series crushes with hydraulic neck extenders.
These extenders, affixed to the headgate, are controlled via the control arm and facilitate gentle forward movement of the animal's head.
This feature simplifies tasks like injections, tagging, and TB testing, enhancing both safety and precision.
